Vote for a Winner — and
You Could Be a Winner Too

Why Vote? We've Got 25,000 Good Reasons.

More specifically, we've got 25,000 American Airlines AAdvantage miles to give away, and you could win them by simply  reading up on the finalists in our 6th Annual American Way Road Warrior Search and then choosing your favorite.

We’ve already done most of the work, vetting thousands of Road Warrior entries and narrowing them down to just five. You, our readers, will vote for your favorite, and in the process you'll choose the Grand Prize winner. Majority rules.

Once you read the entries and vote, you’ll be entered in a sweepstakes to win 25,000 American Airlines AAdvantage miles. (So be sure and fill out the necessary contact information in case you win!)

You can view the finalists' complete entries by clicking on their names above, but here are the quick-hit versions for you instant-gratification types.

Brad Dupray, 47, is a senior vice president at Church Development Fund, which provides financing for the expansion, building, and growth of churches and ministries. Brad says he’s taken a photo from the window of every hotel room in which he’s stayed, including a view of a brick wall — which finally makes us appreciate our drab, windowless cubicle. Sort of.

Jack Jensen, 53, is a strategic account manager at UPS and the author of one of our favorite haikus. Succinctly describing the essence of the Road Warrior lifestyle in 17 syllables and making all the judges laugh knowingly is a feat in itself.

Tracey McCormack, 39, is the vice president of ad sales for SiTV, which describes itself as a “fresh, irreverent, English-language Latino cable network.” That workplace attitude apparently has rubbed off on Tracey, who made us all laugh with her spot-on marriage of evocative photos and witty captions.

Chris Newberry, 44, is a vice president of sales for Aviva, the world’s fifth-largest insurance group. You know the old joke about insurance salesmen being boring? One look at Chris’s “minimize to maximize” photo concept puts that untruth to rest.

Kaye Wilkins, 73, is a professor of pediatric orthopedics  at the University of Texas Health Science Center — when he’s not globetrotting in an attempt to heal as many sick kids as possible. Frankly, anybody who can pull a MacGyver and perform surgery in a closet while using an ordinary desk lamp and a drill bought at a hardware store deserves a spot in the finals.

Thanks for voting!
