Just Plane Cool

by Chris Wessling
Wanna know what air travel will look like in 40 years? Think invisible walls.

Aircraft manufacturer Airbus has unveiled its ultra-high-tech "transparent" concept plane, which would allow passengers to make the cabin walls see-through with a simple touch.

Airbus also envisions cool planes in the year 2050 to feature:

> "Morphing seats," which will use body heat to power in-flight entertainment gadgets.
> Holographic game displays.
> A "Smart Tech" cabin area where passengers can keep in touch with their earthbound colleagues, friends and family.
> A "Vitalizing" zone, where vitamin-enriched air will be circulated.
> An "Interaction" zone, which can be used for conferences, gaming or a bar.
