Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones was being released this month, then you have been living in an unknown location that is completely uninhabited by human beings. Lucas’ second installment in the six-part series involves much lightsaber dueling, incredible
CGI images, and, oh yeah, Anakin and
Amidala falling in love. With Hayden Christensen picking up the role of Anakin,
Natalie Portman reprising her role as Queen Amidala, and additional casting that includes
Ewan McGregor and Samuel L. Jackson, this is quite possibly the pinnacle of
the Star Wars franchise.
If by some cosmic quirk you don’t want to see Star Wars, then check out
Insomnia, a psychological thriller starring
Al Pacino as a detective investigating the murder of a teenage girl and
Robin Williams as the prime suspect. While Pacino gives his usual intimidating performance, Williams steals the show with his hauntingly realistic portrayal of a psychopath.
