American Museum | THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART | New York | Museum of Natural History

Museums

by Elaine Glusac

Two of history’s greatest
geniuses are headlining a pair of New York exhibits. “Einstein,” on view through August 10 at the American Museum of Natural History, employs computer animation, 3-D models, and personal letters to re-create 1905, the year the 26-year-old scientist masterminded his theory of relativity. Across the park at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, 120 drawings by Leonardo da Vinci, on display through March 30, illustrate his gift for art as well as science. (212) 535-7710, www.metmuseum.org
