This hybrid machine slides on two skis, and steers via a mountain bike-style handlebar, giving you yet another excuse to blow off work on powder days. Two “snoblades” attach to your feet, giving you the stability to tackle black-diamond slopes. In theory, at least; in practice, the Snowcycle is best suited to moderate, groomed terrain, or to modest backyard pitches, where momentum builds in startlingly short order.
