There are no pedals on the Trikke; instead, like in-line skating, the machine relies on a rhythmic, side-to-side weight-transfer motion to propel you down memory lane (or wherever you happen to be riding, assuming it’s paved and relatively flat). Our favorite is the Trikke8, which boasts hand brakes; stable, smooth-rolling 8-inch wheels; and easily hits speeds in the upper-teens. If only your first tricycle had gone so fast.
