• Rates are gross and commissionable (15%) to recognized agencies.
• Ad rates are based on an average number of passengers on flights airing the CBS Eye on American programming.
• Advertisers may also purchase spots shown on long haul flights only. Contact your CBS Eye on American Account Manager for details and rates.
• Video tags are available in :10 and :15 second increments. Rates available upon request.
• Passenger counts and number of flights are supplied by American Airlines. Numbers shown represent an average, and vary by month.
• All advertising is subject to American Airlines’ approval. American Airlines reserves the right to refuse any advertisement based on content it deems as inappropriate for its passengers and/or cabin environment.

AD MATERIALS REQUIREMENTS & DEADLINES
Materials Requirements: One Betacam (SP) plus one VHS screening copy. NTSC only. Refer to “Mechanical Requirements” for further details.
Materials Deadline: Six weeks prior to the first day of the month in which the advertising is to be exhibited.

Contract Conditions
American Airlines Publishing reserves the right to limit the amount of advertising in any given advertising period. American Airlines Publishing also reserves the right to hold advertiser and/or it advertising agency jointly and severally responsible for such monies as are due and payable to AAP. Insertion orders are binding after closing date. No cancellations accepted after closing date.

All advertisements are accepted by American Airlines Publishing on the assumption that the advertiser and/or the agency is authorized to air the entire contents of the advertisement. It is understood that the advertiser and/or agency will indemnify and render American Airlines Publishing harmless from any and all expenses arising from any claims based on the advertising content.

Advertising invoices are issued monthly and are due net 30 days from the date of invoice. Commissions not allowed on billings over 90 days past due. No cash discounts allowed. No commission on mechanical services. Prompt payment will ensure uninterrupted advertising schedules.

American Airlines reserves the right to refuse any advertisement based on content it deems inappropriate for its passengers and/or cabin environment.

    All programming is bi-directional, with different programming airing in each direction. Commercial breaks will appear preceding and following each programming segment.

    Video-equipped flights one hour or longer in duration carry Systemwide programming. Flights over seven hours in duration carry the additional one hour and fifteen minutes of Long Haul programming.

    The entire Systemwide program is dubbed into Spanish. Advertisers may submit both English and Spanish audio tracks.
