The delectable Pie à la Mode cocktail doubles as a dessert at the end of a big meal, as it’s served at dylan prime (62 Laight St.; 212-334-4783), a hip restaurant (where the cast of Saturday Night Live has held several after-performance parties) in New York’s trendy TriBeCa neighborhood that features some of the best steaks and chops in the city. Given the richness of a meal here, and despite terrific desserts via chef Bobby Duncan, you might want to end with just this cocktail, created by beverage guru and partner Michael Waterhouse. On a cool night, especially before a fireplace, pie à la mode can take on a whole new meaning.
