Think Pink ... Look Good While Helping a Great Cause

by Chris Wessling
Image about Breast CancerIf you've seen an NFL game this month, you know that October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Players and coaches are wearing a variety of pink-colored gear as part of the league's "A Crucial Catch" campaign. But even if you're not part of the NFL, you can get in on the action with a beautiful piece of jewelry.

Count Me Healthy Jewelry sells stlyish bracelets designed to be a "well-being and health journal" for the wrist. Sterling silver beads on the bracelet can be moved from one side to the other, helping the wearer keep track of wellness goals: glasses of water; calories counted by the hundred; servings of veggies; etc.

This month, consider one of CMH's "Counting for a Cause” bracelets, which were designed especially for women who have been touched by breast cancer. When you buy one online, 15 percent of the purchase price will be donated to breast cancer research programs at the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Center.

Look good -- and help a very worthy cause at the same time.
