Bricco Rocche | LOOSEN REISLING

Village People

by Anthony Dias Blue
Page:

Although Ceretto is headquartered outside Alba, just to the north, the company built a dedicated winery named Bricco Rocche for its three single-vineyard Barolos. The lovely 1998 Bricco Rocche (bricco is local Piemontese dialect for summit), like many of the Ceretto wines, is geared for earlier drinking than more traditional Barolos, with remarkable balance and a long, dense finish.
