BRIGHTVIEW VINEYARD BAROSSA VALLEY | ADELAIDE HILLS | Woodside | SIMON HACKETT
Bottom's Up
by
Anthony Dias BlueThe duo bought a 116-acre plot just outside the town of Woodside, mainly planted with Sauvignon Blanc (along with enough Chardonnay to supply two separate bottlings, one oaked and one unoaked). The vineyard is closely planted to increase vine stress and uses the same vertical trellising system that is employed in Bordeaux. Edgy and crisp with lively acid and spice, this one would make a great match for a plate of oysters.
