With the recent opening of the Denver Art Museum’s Frederic C. Hamilton Building, the Mile High City is now home to the biggest art museum between Chicago and the West Coast. World Trade Center site designer Daniel Libeskind clothed the soaring crystalline shapes of the 146,000-square-foot addition in gleaming titanium, and with all the extra space, the museum now has room to display about 700 more works of art — which will undoubtedly delight the million visitors expected to troop through in the first year alone. www.denverartmuseum.org— Mark Henricks
