COOKING FOR DUMMIES

Digital Cookware Inc. puts the sizzle in your skillet with the introduction of its Smart Pan ($90 for the 10" and $100 for the 12"). First, on the pan’s indicator, select the type of food you’re cooking; the pan then tells you the target cooking temperature and the current temperature of the pan. Use the indicator to adjust the burner for perfect heat control. We tested this out for breakfast, and it’s clear that we’ve been overheating for years! No longer.
