AW Giveaway: $100 in Free Gas

by Chris Wessling
I filled up my car's gas tank this morning -- and yes, it made my wallet wince. Then again, if I were driving around in a gas-sipping Chevy Cruze, I'd be smiling instead.

Up to 42 miles to per gallon (for the Eco model) will do that to you.

The folks at Chevrolet know that prices at the pump are putting a bit of a strain on drivers' budgets, so they've provided $100 worth of Shell gas cards for us to give away and help take some of the sting out of motoring for one lucky person. Just be the first person to e-mail us with "Cruze" in the subject line, and the cards are yours.

Getting $100 worth of free gas is a wonderful thing -- but it's a short-term thing. You could save a lot more than that every year on your gas bill by driving a 2012 Chevy Cruze, especially the Eco model.

> The Cruze is the most fuel-efficient gas-powered car in America, with the Eco getting up to 42 MPG.

> Think luxury features and hybrid-like fuel efficiency, but without the price tag. From its USB, Bluetooth and OnStar technologies, to its 5-star crash safety ratings, the Cruze is challenging conventional compact wisdom.

> The Cruze is the roomiest car in its segment, with mid-size car interior space and the largest capacity trunk among competitors.

> Safety is rated the No. 2 most important feature among small-car shoppers, behind only fuel efficiency. The Cruze is the only small car with 10 standard airbags. The extra rear passenger airbags were added to better protect from rib and pelvis injuries, especially in young girls.
