Kentucky has its mint julep and Louisiana its Ramos gin fizz, but what else would Georgia have than a drink named after and using its most abundant crop? The Georgia Peach Cocktail is a specialty at the Lobby Lounge at The Ritz-Carlton Buckhead in Atlanta. And it’s just as pretty as it tastes.


11/2 oz. ketel one vodka
1/2 oz. peach schnapps
splash of orange juice
pour all ingredients into a shaker over ice and shake till very cold, strain into a martini glass, and garnish with an orange slice.
