A Post-Shopping Swig
Croon like Bing Crosby and forget how much money you just blew at the mall.

The White Christmas
(created by the bartenders at the Fairmont Copley Plaza, Boston)

2 ounces Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur 1 ounce peppermint schnapps 2 ounces Stoli Vanil vodka

Shake together, strain, and serve in a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a miniature candy cane.

A Swill for Late Night
Parents, sip this one in the wee hours as you assemble that 3,000-piece playhouse.

P.i.n.k. Peppermint Martini
2½ ounces P.i.n.k. vodka (the world’s first caffeinated vodka)

1 ounce white crème de menthe ½ ounce peppermint schnapps
Pink peppermint stick

Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a pink peppermint stick.

Sugar Plum Fairy-tini
(created by the bartenders at the Four Seasons Hotel Austin)

2 ounces Choya plum wine with ume fruits 1 ounce Cîroc Vodka
½ ounce simple syrup 1 ounce lime juice Splash of Parfait Amour orange liqueur (for color)

Combine all ingredients in a shaker, and serve in a martini glass rimmed with sugar. Optional: Garnish with a plum.

Kindle the entire office’s holiday spirit with this libation. Just one sip and the tongues will be wagging.

Misty Winter Warmer

½ cup brown sugar ¾ teaspoon whole cloves 2 cinnamon sticks 1 quart cranberry juice 23 ounces pineapple juice 1 cup Canadian Mist whiskey 2¼ cups water

Place brown sugar and spices in the pot basket of a 10-cup coffeemaker. Add juices, water, and Canadian Mist to the pot. Brew as you would coffee and serve hot, directly from the pot. Makes 2 quarts.
