Big-league Workout
by
Joseph GuintoAh, Hawaii. Lush landscape, blue waters, cool breezes, and those thousands of sweaty people running, biking, swimming, and nearly passing out from exhaustion. Every October, the Big Island is host to the Ironman Triathlon World Championship. The annual event starts in Kailua-Kona with a 2.4-mile ocean swim, proceeds to a 112-mile bike race, and ends in a 26.2-mile run. Makes us tired just thinking about it. Hey, let’s go take a nap on the beach.
