Bar Rouge, in the blush-hued Hotel Rouge [202-232-8000], draws a fashionable crowd to its white leather and aluminum barstools, providing prime viewing of trippy visuals broadcast in sync with the music. At media-mad 1331 in the JW Marriott Hotel [202-393-2000], high-tech flat-screen TVs align overhead, high-speed Internet access serves the tables, and a cozy low-tech reading lounge complete with bookshelves and plush sofas surrounds a fireplace.
