Iberostar Paraiso Beach | Maya Riviera | Cancun | Mexico

Check In

SOUTH OF THE BORDER
Two New All-Inclusive Resorts Have It All

Mexico’s mushrooming Maya Riviera just got mas grande, with the 814-room Iberostar resorts celebrating their grand opening this month. Fifteen miles south of Cancun, the two Spanish-owned all-inclusives (the 390-room Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar and the 424-room Iberostar Paraiso Beach) face each other over a lush 35-acre compound sharing a nearly mile-long beach. Along with all the attractions for which coastal Mexico is famed — warm seas, white sand beaches, Technicolor diving — the resorts focus attention, Euro-style, on food and drink via 14 outlets, including a Brazilian steakhouse. Overnights at the affordable Iberostars start at $100. (888) 923-2722; www.iberostarcaribe.com
