Cheers for the connectivity race. FAIRMONT HOTELS AND RESORTS (800-441-1414, www.fairmont.com) recently implemented wireless Internet access at all 41 of its sites for about $10 per day. No laptop, no problem at THE GORHAM HOTEL (800-735-0710, www.gorhamhotel.com) in New York, which installed a no-fee “cyber station” in the lobby for guests checking e-mail. And at the HYATT REGENCY CHICAGO (312-565-1234, www.chicagohyatt.com), high-speed DSL access now comes free.
