Secret Garden

by Elaine Glusac

For tranquility, head to Queens. Yep, the working class borough of Queens, Long Island City, to be exact, is the site of the just-reopened Noguchi Museum. The former photo-engraving plant that houses the work of modern sculptor Isamu Noguchi has undergone two and a half years of renovation. The structure now showcases new exhibitions, plus its original 13 Noguchi-designed galleries surrounding a serene, art-filled garden. (718) 204-7088, www.noguchi.org
