CHOCOLATE RX

The most recent buzz on chocolate is that the heavenly concoction acts as an antioxidant, and therefore can be good for your heart. All the more reason to treat yourself, deserving employees, or favored clients to a little of the stuff — for the health benefits, of course!

As long as you’re indulging, you might as well get the best. Check out former pastry chef Jacques Torres’ popular little shop in Brooklyn or online at www.mrchocolate.com. Torres himself designed and helped build his chocolate factory, which opened last year. At $40 per pound, this chocolate prescription isn’t cheap. But delicacies like Taittinger Champagne truffles and Wicked Hot Chocolate (made with real chiles) are worth every antioxidizing bite.
