If you’ve been wondering what 24’s Jack Bauer has been up to since he last saved America from the bad guys, wonder no more. Keifer Sutherland makes his Broadway debut next month in the revival of That Championship Season at the Bernard Jacobs Theatre on West 45th St. in New York.

The play takes us to the reunion of a Catholic high school basketball team that won the state championship 20 years ago. Since then, the former heroes have found the adult world much harder to master than the basketball court — struggling with alcoholism, rocky marriages and shady business deals. It’s a gritty and profane look at friendship, hero worship, lost ideals, and the American obsession with youth and winning.

Besides Sutherland, the cast includes Chris Noth (Sex and the City, The Good Wife) and Jason Patric (In the Valley of Elah). Patric, by the way, is the son of the play’s author, the late Jason Miller.
