Forbes Consider this the most capitalist of the surveys. It takes tuition costs, compares them to a graduate’s eventual expected salary, and computes return on investment. “We saw all those rankings out there and decided we needed to put a particularly Forbesian touch on it,” says senior writer Kurt Badenhausen. Again, few surprises here — Harvard was number one in 2002.
