Which way to Whiskey Sky?

Following New York-to-L.A. outposts, nightclub owner Rande Gerber unveils perhaps his coolest Whiskey Bar yet in Las Vegas. The indoor-outdoor Whiskey Sky (702-617-7777) breaks from the dark-and-sleek ho-hum with a swinging ’70s look that includes a white molded-plastic bar, starburst chandeliers, and low-slung sofas opposite a 12-foot fireplace. Reserve a decadent daybed or tricked-out cabana in the outdoor area, Whiskey Beach. Ask a local the way. Whiskey Sky’s way-off-Strip location in the new Green Valley Ranch resort is a townie’s delight. —
