Jim ShahinIf I learned anything from all of this, it is that I have to get out more. Some of these places, I hadn’t even heard of. Ponta Delgado in the Azores? Skeleton Coast? Futaleufu River?
Other places, I’ve intended to go for a long time. The Cliffs of Moher in
Ireland, San Miguel de Allende in
Mexico, the great Inca ruins of
Machu Picchu in
Peru. Seeing them as recommendations only reminded me of how vast and wondrous the world is and how paltry my ability to scam my editor into letting me go see it.
