Martin Luther King Jr. | National Park Service | Veteran''s Day

Visit a National Park for Free

by American Way Staff
There are nearly 400 national parks in the United States (397, to be exact), and you could visit every single one of them for free this week ... if you were Superman.

But it's a great deal for mere mortals, too. To commemorate Martin Luther King Jr. Day, entrance fees to all national parks will be waived from Jan. 14 through Jan. 16.

That means you could experience such places as the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site in Georgia ... Yosemite National Park in California ... Gettysburg National Military Park in Pennsylvania ... and so many more.

Other days that the National Park Service will waive admission fees this year:

> National Park Week (April 21-29)
> Get Outdoors Day (June 9)
> National Public Lands Day (Sept. 29)
> Veterans Day weekend (Nov. 10-12)
