Aspen’s après-ski tipple of choice is the town’s new “official” cocktail, the ASPEN FACE SHOT. In a contest drawing 21 bartenders, 900 locals voted in the Face Shot termed for the powder blast of deep-snow schussing. Order the cream-based martini bolstered by vodka, coconut rum, Bailey’s, amaretto, and Frangelica at the originating Mother Lode Restaurant (970-925-7700) and the swinging new lounge 39 Degrees (970-925-6760).
