Historic Route 66 stretches some 2,448 miles from Chicago to Los Angeles, so it’s easy to simply pick out the slice of classic auto Americana closest to you and hit the open road. Although it has been officially decommissioned and doesn’t appear on modern maps, the road’s myths, legends, and artifacts live on in cyberspace.
