PAINT THE TOWN
Boston Boasts an Artful Exhibit

Though better known for en-plein-air renditions of haystacks and waterlilies, Europe’s Impressionists also brought their spontaneous method to stationary subjects, as told in Impressionist Still Life at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Running through June 9, the exhibit — the first to look exclusively at Impressionist still-life painting — showcases 90 works by the likes of Manet, Monet, Cézanne, and Renoir.
