Nashville | Porter | Loveless Cafe | Gaylord Entertainment Center

Faith Hill's Nashville

"I love P.F. Chang's China Bistro, a big, loud, always busy restaurant, for Asian food. I like The Palm for steaks. For authentic Cajun, there's Nooley's in Franklin. The owners of Nooley's are from Louisiana, so they know what they're doing. After a big dinner of gumbo, jambalaya, or one of their great muffuletta sandwiches, you can walk it off by taking a stroll through historic downtown Franklin."

NIGHTLIFE
"It depends what's going on in town. Tim and I would catch a movie or see a concert at the Gaylord Entertainment Center or the Ryman or check out the entertainment at one of Nashville's clubs like 12th and Porter downtown. 12th and Porter is a restaurant and club, where some of Nashville's best musicians perform."

SUNDAY

BREAKFAST
"I would go to the Loveless Cafe for breakfast. You can either have breakfast in the main restaurant or the buffet in one of the converted rooms. The biscuits, homemade preserves, country ham, and red-eye gravy are world famous, and Martha Stewart once said it was the best breakfast she'd ever had. The cafe dates back to the 1950s and looks pretty much the same as it did back then."

EXCURSION
"After breakfast at the Loveless, hop onto the Natchez Trace for a day of wandering. The Trace runs 444 miles, from Nashville, Tennessee to Natchez, Mississippi. It's the trail once used by Indians, fur traders, and adventurers like Daniel Boone. You can pack a picnic lunch and explore some of the towns located off of the Trace. The speed limit is only 50, so it makes for a leisurely drive."
