On The Road With Kate Hudson
Anything funny, interesting, or insane happen to you while
traveling?
"Oh, I don't even know where to begin. I've traveled so much. I
don't know if there was anything funny, except that we traveled
with all of our animals."
What kind and how many animals are we talking about?
"Like the 200-pound mastiff. I was in Paris for three months
[during the filming of Le Divorce], and I got to live there with my
husband, who was also working there. Three months, and I brought
two animals: our mastiff and our Pomeranian. Paris is a
dog-friendly place. There are no places you can't take your dog. I
could take my little Pom into L'Amis Louis if I wanted to. But the
big girl, you know, you've just got to think strictly an outdoor
cafe."
What's always in your carry-on bag?
"Every time we leave, we check passports, wallets, money, and
crystals."
Crystals?
"We carry around crystals. I usually have a heart with me, rose
quartz or fluorite. Chris has some skulls he carries around. He has
a rose quartz and a smoky quartz."
That's for good energy, right?
"Uh-huh. We don't go anywhere without them."
Any travel strategies you employ?
