A loose remake of It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World that features top comedians John Cleese, Whoopi Goldberg, Rowan Atkinson, and Jon Lovitz (just to name a few), Paramount’s Rat Race was guaranteed to be a hit, and it didn’t disappoint. Bring the comedy home, and you’ll laugh so hard your sides will hurt — and that’s before you even get to the additional footage, such as a gag reel, outtakes, deleted scenes, and an audio commentary with director Jerry Zucker.

For the truly romantic, Universal offers Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, which stars Penélope Cruz and Nicolas Cage. While the plot might leave a little to be desired, the cinematography, setting, and soundtrack often make up for it. Oh, and Penélope.
