Vroom With A View

by Rob Brinkley

They’re not bad; they’re just drawn that way. Sixteen hopelessly racy roadsters and runabouts — all from the private garages of one Mr. Ralph Lauren — purr into the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, on March 6. Think Bentleys, Bugattis, Jags, and Ferraris, all from the 1930s to the ’60s, back when these beauties might’ve been driven by femmes called Dietrich, Garbo, and Kelly. Bring your lace-up gloves. “Speed, Style, and Beauty: Cars from the Ralph Lauren Collection,” through July 3. (617) 267-9300, www.mfa.org
