The hotelier doubles down in New York. Views of the harbor and the Statue of Liberty highlight the contemporary, art-filled Ritz-Carlton Battery Park near Wall Street (from $465). Farther uptown, the Ritz-Carlton Central Park peers into the namesake grounds (telescopes provided), installs the first La Prairie spa in the U.S., and impersonates a swank uptown townhouse (from $425). Far from New York’s crowds and 75 miles from Atlanta’s, the just-opened Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation (above) sprawls over 10,000 acres in Georgia’s lake country.
