Putting form before function and sizzle before service, 125 objects — ranging from evening gowns to sports cars — dress the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art to the nines this month. “Glamour,” the exhibition of all things glitz, indulges the excessive in fashion, indus-trial design, and architecture. Think Karl Lagerfeld’s haute couture, Rolex watches, ­Wally-Power boats, and Morris La-pidus’ designs for the retro-cool Eden Roc Hotel in Miami. Get an eyeful from October 9 to January 17.
