CENTERS OF ATTENTION

New sports facilities popping up around the United States are pulling out all of the stops to ensure their beloved teams have homes that are high-tech and fan friendly. Since 1995, the National Hockey League has witnessed the opening of 18 arenas in major cities to house their ice team of choice. The nation’s newest arena is the American Airlines Center in Dallas. - JAMES E. MAYFIELD
