Mark Seal"I go to The
Sports Club L.A. for extra conditioning, aside from my
regular Lakers practice at Health South Training Center. You see
pretty much everybody working out at The Sports Club. They have
great trainers and every type of weight and workout machine you can
imagine. It's a huge club with jacuzzis and steam rooms and a
restaurant. It even has valet parking, which everybody uses. What
makes it a great gym are the women who work out there. There's
nothing like working out surrounded by beautiful and fit
women."
LUNCH
"Jerry's Famous Deli. It's a big, noisy, crowded deli where
everybody hangs out. I like the club sandwich and the steak fries,
which are both huge. There's the turkey club, which comes with
everything: lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, and a lot of meat. You can
also get it with either coleslaw or potato salad."
SHOPPING
"What can you buy in L.A. that you can't buy anywhere else? Chrome
rims for the car, at a place called West Coast Customs, which is my
second home. They carry many different types of chrome rims and
wheels, all the top brands, things nobody else has. I like the way
the wheels look, especially when they're rolling. I shop for
clothes at Rochester Big & Tall, which has suits starting at 48
long to 60 extra long. They're the exclusive shop for big and tall
Versace and Zegna. I love their oversize shirts and T-shirts and
jeans. I get most of my suits tailor-made at Hanging with Mr.
Cooper, the official custom shirt provider for the Lakers. It's a
custom-design clothing company in
Newport Beach. The master
designer, Larry Cooper, makes clothes for a lot of celebrities. He
does every type of clothing, and he comes to the house with tons of
fabric, and I just choose what I like. I never really shop on Rodeo
Drive because it's too expensive."
