ARTISTIC ADVENTURE
A Wild and Wooly Exhibit in Ontario

Fishing guide, fire ranger, and, above all, painter, Canada’s Tom Thomson spent most of his artistic life in the wilds of Algonquin Provincial Park in Northern Ontario. He rendered its pines, lakes, spring buds, and winter snows with impressionist color and expressionist passion. See more than 160 of his wilderness works in the blockbuster show Tom Thomson at the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa through September 8, later visiting Vancouver, Quebec City, and Winnipeg.
