This talented actor is just one of many who spend time on movie sets in Toronto, And when the cameras are off, he hits the town. Here's a weekend with Wesley Snipes in the city they call Hollywood North.
As the third most popular place to shoot films in North America, Toronto has seen its share of movie stars. Among them is Wesley Snipes, best known for his work in pictures like New Jack City, White Men Can't Jump, and the recent Blade II. Though he was born in Orlando, grew up in New York, and now makes L.A. his home, the 40-year-old actor fell in love with the comely Canadian city while shooting several of his more than 25 films there. Here's where Wesley Snipes hangs out in Toronto when the cameras aren't rolling.

Lodging
"Le Royal Meridien King Edward is hands-down the number-one spot for me to stay in Toronto. The interior has massive marble columns and a skylight in the lobby. The 'King Eddy' is close to all spots downtown and has a great staff and excellent service. Another hotel is the Four Seasons in Yorkville, the Rodeo Drive of Toronto. The rooms are spectacular, with a residential feel. Its Lobby Bar is well-known for afternoon teas, although I haven't done that yet. The Avenue is a lounge within the hotel, where people go to just hang and have well-made beverages."
