Buckhead is Atlanta’s trendy heart for nightlife, dining, and shopping, and it’s also a favorite of Pachulia’s, especially when it comes to eating out. “I really enjoy going to restaurants with my family,” Pachulia says. “For lunch, it’s definitely 3 Twist -- great atmosphere, and I love their sushi and tapas. For dinner, it’s 4 Market in the W Hotel -- great chef, great lounge, and very romantic.”

“One of my great loves in life is brunching! I absolutely love 5 Highland Bakery in the Old Fourth Ward. It is one of Atlanta’s warmest hidden gems, full of Southern comfort like home-ground grits, freshly milled grain breads, Cilantro Corn Pancakes , and the Cowboy Benedict. It also boasts its own sugar artist, Karen Portaleo, who creates the most amazing lifelike cakes I have ever seen.”

Little Five Points is Atlanta’s funky cross-streets of dives, vintage clothing, and cheap eats. “I always go to 6 Elmyr,” says Blackmon. “It’s in a historic building and named after the famous art forger [Elmyr de Hory]. The walls are filled with pop art, its jukebox is the best in town, and the food is awesome, if you don’t mind inhaling a little smoke while eating.”

“[The] 7 Brick Store Pub in downtown Decatur has the ultimate drink list. When you can go to a joint and order a beer made with Gouda and German ham, then you know they have it all. 8 Divan Restaurant & Hookah Lounge is a really cool, cozy, romantic Persian spot with great food -- and the hookahs are no joke. [There’s] no cover, but it’s reservations only.”
